We use the information you share to respond to inquiries, support enrollment, and manage Faculty Bench participation. This page explains the information involved, our use of service providers, and the browser storage that supports this application.

This notice explains how Summit Global Education uses information submitted through this enrollment and Faculty Bench application. It supplements Summit’s Privacy Policy, which covers the public study abroad website and general communications.

Information you provide

Information requests and applications collect your name, email, university, program interests, questions, and application goals. Applications also ask about your preferred session, university status, and eligibility. Faculty Bench registration and profiles collect contact details, professional background, role interests, and availability.

Staff may record application review, admissions decisions, program commitments, readiness, agreed offers, and verified manual payments. This application records payment information entered by staff; it does not collect card details or process payments.

How Summit uses and shares information

Summit staff use this information to respond to requests, review applications, support enrollment and program readiness, and contact faculty or program staff about their profiles and availability.

We use service providers for data storage, hosting, email, internal staff communications, and AI-assisted processing. These services may process contact details and information you submit. Email services support requested communications, sign-in links, availability check-ins, and internal alerts. Hosting services may process technical information such as IP addresses and request times.

AI helps identify spam, summarize submissions, and prepare reply drafts for staff review. Admission and staffing decisions remain with people.

Do not include medical details, passport numbers, banking information, or other sensitive documents in open-text fields. This application does not provide a document-upload service.

Cookies and tracking

The application uses a first-party session cookie for form security and sign-in. Form security, including protection against forged submissions (CSRF), uses this same cookie, not a separate cookie. For visitors who are not signed in, it has no explicit expiry and is normally kept for the browser session; browser restore settings may preserve it. Signed-in sessions expire after eight hours without activity, with the expiry refreshed as you use the app. Blocking this cookie can prevent forms and sign-in from working.

If you dismiss our privacy notice, we save one local browser preference to keep it hidden on this app. It has no scheduled expiry and may be removed by clearing site data or by your browser. It applies only to that browser profile for this app, does not identify you, and is not sent to Summit as an event or shared across sites. If your browser cannot save it, dismissal still works on the current page, but the notice may appear on another page or visit.

Dismissal is not consent and does not enable or change any tracking or application features. The application's code does not include advertising, analytics, or session-replay scripts.
